Larkspur has one of the highest amount of players in coaching in Munster. With an average of 250 junior and adult players in the coaching system each year with our Head Coach Jaco Oosthysen, Justin Blackwood & Tony , progress in the junior and senior players in constant.

Jaco Oosthuysen 

Jaco is a qualified Tennis Ireland and PTR coach as well as a Crossfit Instructor with over 10 years of coaching experience from U6 beginner players to Top 5 in Ireland players.  Jaco achieved a Career High Ranking of No.1 in Ireland in Mixed Doubles (Partner Leanne Fogarty) and Top 10 in singles.


Justin Blackwood 


Justin Blackwood is a Tennis Ireland qualified & licensed coach. 

Originally from Australia, Justin played at a high junior level. Since living in Ireland Justin has had a great success in Senior Open Weeks & been a member of winning Munster Cup teams for Larkspur.

Larkspur has one of the best viewing positions of the 5 AstroTurf courts in the country. With the rear bank elevated, spectators and players can experience a magnificent competitive and social vibe in the club. Larkspur is a busy club with regular leagues, coaching programs, competitions, friendly matches and events for kids & adults. Make sure to book a court when you intend to play.

For any additional information Members are welcome to talk to any committee member. You may contact us via the contact button on the website or on the Facebook page. Committee meetings are held on the last Monday of the month at 8:00 p.m. The name sof all committee members are on the notice board. Any new member of the wishes to play an internal league and are unknown to the selectors must make themselves knows to a coach or slector member. Players can enter leagues on the sign up sheet on the notice board.
